March 21 – The Presidents Healthcare Reform bill passes
With passage of this bill, Pres. Obama has achieved the most sweeping piece of social legislation since the 1960s that saw the passage of Medicare and Medicaid, Civil rights Act. Healthcare reform has eluded Presidents going at least as far back as Teddy Roosevelt. And guess who gets it done. Barack!
March 25 – President Signs Healthcare bill
The President surrounded by Vice President Joe Biden, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Vicki Kennedy, Harry Reid and young Mr. Marcelas Owens (nasty repubs actually attacked this kid) signs the Affordable Health Care for America Act.
March 26 – President reaches agreement with Russia on the START Treaty (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty)
The US and Russia have finalised the most comprehensive nuclear arms reduction treaty in nearly two decades. President Obama and President Medvedev will meet in Prague April 8 to sign the deal. Bush wanted nothing to do with the treaty. We have got to do away with the Nukes…Go Bam!!!
March 28 – President Obama goes to Afghanistan
The President needed to look the Afghan President Humid Kara in the eye and tell him watch your step man, I got this nice big plane and I can get to you anytime I want, the corruption has to end... Son! feel me… and than he went to meet the troops (Fox news scan the crowd looking for unhappy soldiers none found they love dude) can I call the President dude? check out dude in his flight jacket........
March 30 – President Signs Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010
So it is written so it shall be done...President signed the final portion of the Healthcare bill, with all the hoopla over Healthcare there was a hidden nugget in the Reconciliation part of the bill. The new law raises the maximum Pell Grant, makes loan payments more affordable for students (the banks are no longer the middle man) with unmanageable debt, increases investments in community colleges, and extends support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and other Minority Serving Institutions, all at no additional cost to taxpayers according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office. The education initiatives funded by the law are fully paid for by ending government subsidies that were being given to financial institutions making guaranteed federal student loans. That Barack is a bad man.
For Teddy....
